FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS
We provide fire suppression systems for server rooms, plant rooms and commercial kitchens, carried out by our specialist suppression engineers. The systems put a fire out automatically, in places where water sprinklers would do more harm than good.

SYSTEMS WE FIT
Our suppression engineers have 20 years' combined experience and are trained by the UK's leading manufacturers, including Kidde, Fike, Tyco, Komtes and FSL. We're not tied to one make, so we choose the system that best suits each room.

Inert gas (IG55, IG541, IG100). Lowers the oxygen in the room below what a fire needs, but not below what people need to breathe.

Chemical gas (FM200, FE25, Novec 1230). The most popular choice for server rooms and IT equipment.

Kitchen systems (wet chemical and water mist). Go off automatically within seconds if a fire starts.
SERVICING
Suppression systems need servicing every six months, so you know they'll work if a fire starts. All our suppression engineers are F-Gas registered and service most makes, including systems fitted by other companies.
ROOM INTEGRITY TESTING
A gas system only works if the room holds the gas long enough. We test this every year with a calibrated door fan and Retrotec software. If the room holds the gas for 10 minutes or more, it passes and is certified for another 12 months. Many insurers ask for this.
If the room fails, our engineers find the leaks and seal them, then retest. One team does the testing and the sealing, so you get to a pass with the least disruption.
CYLINDER TESTING
Suppression cylinders must be pressure tested (hydrostatic testing) every 10 years. If the room can't be left unprotected, we swap in like-for-like cylinders on the same day, so you're covered while yours are away.
